Meet Made, the coolest host
Made is the most resilient, talented and hard-working human being we’ve met during our travels so far. When we first were in Bali 6 months ago, we stayed at another coworking space, which Made was managing for a company, and we instantly connected!
We loved his vibe, his ideas, his will to make dreams come true and his kind heart, always willing to help others. He grew up in a small village not that far from Canggu, and since very young his passion for surf grew and made him a wild soul, hungry for travels and adventures. During high school he was already getting ways to make his life possible, to help his family and save up for surfing trips. After college, he managed to get a work for an international company, where he could work from anywhere in the world, from his laptop, and that’s when his digital nomad soul came alive.
Years later he started to manage a coworking villa in Canggu for a co-work surfing company, but as it was about to close, he had to make a move and in less than 6 months he managed to open his own company and coworking/co-living place, giving life to Surfing Nomads.
Why you should stay at Surfing Nomads
More than a guesthouse, this is a shared living and coworking space where remote workers from all around the world gather and meet. The best part of it, is that it’s located at walking distance from the beach, so suitable for your surfing practice. This is not only a place for digital nomads or remote workers, it’s open to anyone and everyone who loves to connect with people, surf, share new ideas and explore the beautiful places on the island.
Surfing Nomads has the most stable, reliable and fast Wi-Fi connection we could find in Canggu, so suitable for all those who need a safe place to get their working ours done. Nomads also offers surfing lessons at fair and affordable prices for beginners and board rental for professionals.
Whenever you need any help while on the island, such as motorbike rental, tours, places to eat and party or any particular issue you might have, Made will be there to support you.
During the week there are few events going on, like yoga classes, mastermind sessions, family dinners, jam sessions, beach clean-ups and parties, which you will find on the schedule board at the villa.
The atmosphere is always great, people respect each other’s space, the villa is always spotlessly clean by the sweet person that Wayan is and you will have Milo and Fluie to make you company and play around, two of cutest and clever dogs we met. We highly recommend this as your base for your Bali travels so click here and make your booking.
