Park Hyatt Hadahaa - Maldives Leading Resort
- A sustainable tropical paradise -
The Maldives are well known for being a honeymoon destination and a paradise for everyone, with its crystal clear water and sweet tropical harmonies. The country is composed by many little islands, where you can find endless options of beautiful resorts to stay, but not all of them have a big concern for the planet as Maldives Leading Resort Park Hyatt Hadahaa does.
This wonderful slice of heaven on earth is leading the way on sustainability and eco-friendly practices, to assure the preservation of our oceans and nature. After winning many awards as Maldives Leading Resort, Hotel of the Year and Most Sustainable Resort, we urge to show you why it is so important to make conscious choices when it comes to find a place for your holidays, not only for yourself, but for the planet.
Park Hyatt is located on the small island of Hadahaa in North Huvadhoo. The island has a 360 degrees house reef, where you can swim and snorkel amongst hard corals, turtles, eagle rays and reef sharks.
The whole complex is built consciously, using eco-friendly materials, embedded in the nature to preserve the natural landscape. There are around 50 villas on the island, ranging from park villas to ocean villas, but all of them built for comfort, privacy and a unique experience.
In the resort you can have all kinds of experiences, from the wonderful tastes of the Dinning Room and The Island Grill, to glass kayak journeys and guided snorkeling on the house reef. There is also a certified PADI diving center where you can take your certificate or simply rent the gear to dive, if you are already a professional.
If you wish to relax and have a magical experience for the body, mind and soul, the Vidhun Spa has incredible treatments, following the traditional practices of the healing Maldivian culture.
Hadahaa is the ultimate paradise, where you can enjoy a relaxing time by the comfort of your pool villa or the main one facing the ocean, go for a sunset stroll on the white sand beach surrounding and take time to appreciate what life has best to offer.
Park Hyatt is leading the way in the Maldives with its sustainable practices and care for the environment, not only by banning all single use plastic usage within the resort, but also by offering green alternatives for straws, bottled water and toiletries. The straws are made of bamboo, the water bottles are made of glass and refilled every day and the shampoos, shower gels and other toiletries are eco-friendly and not harmful for the ocean and plants.
The resort has an inbuilt recycling station, which recycles most of the glass, paper and plastic, and then send it back to a nearby island to make T-shirts out of it.
The AC in the villas has now a new mechanism, where its power is sourced by waves energy, make it more efficient and less harmful for the planet.
All the food is either locally sourced or grown in the island. Park Hyatt Hadahaa helps the local communities in the Maldives by only buying local products and also host traditional events, to keep the true Maldivian culture alive.
