Best Places To Eat Vegan In Canggu
You have probably heard about Canggu, in Bali: one of the most authentic vegan paradises on earth, and we couldn’t agree more. We started our journey on the island exploring the hipster town of Canggu, where we found an extensive variety of vegan & organic cafe’s, all of them with the most unique style and design. Here are our top choices of the best places with plant-based options that you don’t want to miss.
Peloton Supershop (Vegan & Organic)
A combination of a plant-based café and Bicycle store, @pelotonsupershop proves that plant-based is the queen of all diets. Ranging from a variety of green choices and organic products, this is the perfect pit-stop for food! While enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and design of the space you can get all different varieties, from burgers to smoothie bowls, and even vegan lasagna. We fell in love with the concept, Peloton promotes a conscious lifestyle and being one with the planet, so here you can not only enjoy delicious tastes but also contribute to the sustainability of the Earth

Missibu Bali (Vegan options)
If you are a fan of fusion cuisine and instagrammable spaces, @missibu_bali is the place to go. We had one of the healthiest brunches in Canggu as they use only organic and local products. Their hospitality is outstanding, and we felt so welcomed that we went back for dinner. The atmosphere really captivated us for its diversity. During the day you can enjoy the chilled vibes and during the night is where you want to be for some good music and cocktails, while enjoy the company of friends. Make sure you skip the straw here, they are not completely plastic-free!

Local strawberry smoothie bowl
Mywarung Berawa (Vegan options)
This beautiful space aims to re-create the modern day Warung (which in Indonesia refers to a small family-owned business) with the stylish design. Becoming more eco-friendly -no plastic straws here, which is already a win - and have vegan options on their menu’s is part of their mission, as well as support local talents and businesses, so we loved to support their cause
We were invited for lunch at @mywarung Berawa, one of their many restaurants in Bali and we had such a great time, being warmly welcomed by the owners that gave us the best suggestions for a delicious meal. What we loved about it? The hospitality, which made us feel at home and part of the family and their amazing vegan chocolate cake.
Green tea soba
Vegan red curry
Poke Poke (Vegetarian/Vegan options)
This is a traditional Hawaiian restaurant that serves the best poke bowls in Bali! Made with heart, they prepare each bowl using only the fine organic and local ingredients and serve them in a beautiful coconut bowl. The space is very well designed and really makes you feel like you’re in a beach café in Oahu, while listening to local music played on the ukulele.
With a variety of Vegan and Vegetarian options, @pokepokecanggu offers one of the most chilled vibes in town, while you can enjoy soul food and a delicious fresh juice.

The Savage Kitchen (Organic/Vegan options)
One of the most cosy and chilled spaces, @thesavagekitchen is a paradise for soul food lovers. Using only organic and locally grown ingredients, proud itself to bring all the healthy feelings and benefits that nature can give, a concept we instantly fell in love with. More than serve organic meals, it also has a mission on reducing our negative impact on environment by using metal straws, recycled containers to serve deserts and sell local organic products on it’s place. We had one of the tastiest lunches while our stay in Canggu and we couldn’t feel more revitalized after some good food made with soul.

With the most amazing atmosphere, you will embrace the journey through authentic Japanese flavours with a spicy touch from the East. We can easily say that it was one of the most beautiful sunset experiences at their terrace by the sea, enjoying their signature cocktails with those orange tones at the back, a moment that will be forever in our hearts.
