Everyone knows that I'm a big fan of environmentally friendly projects, but this time I'm really in love with this perfect combination of beauty and nature! Coconut Bowls is a beautiful project that recycle coconut shells and transform them into eco-friendly bowls. Of the billions of coconuts harvested each year for the coconut products industries, 99% of their shells are discarded and burned as waste. So, this project reclaims coconut shells from companies that no longer use it after extracting the coconut flesh and water. Then, Coconut Bowls' craftsman cut, clean and sand the coconut shells, giving life to amazing bowls that you can eat from. Now, for the greedy minds, here's my delicious buddha bowl recipe from the pictures:

ingredients - 2 buddha bowls
100g quinoa
200g smoked tofu
3 sweet mini peppers
1 avocado
10 baby tomatoes
1 lime
1 spoon coconut oil

marjoram, basil, black pepper, soya sauce

dried mango
sesame seeds

1. Rinse the quinoa under cold running water. Tip into a pan, add double the amount of water, and let it boil for 20 min (medium heat). Drain any water.
2. Cut the smoked tofu in thin slices and the sweet mini peppers into tiny cubes. Put the peppers in a hot frying pan with coconut oil (you can also use olive oil) and let it cook for 2 min. Add the smoked tofu and season it with marjoram, basil and black pepper. After 2min add the soya sauce and turn off the heat.
3. Wash and cut the avocado, tomatoes and lime.
4. Put the quinoa and then the tofu in the bowl. Add the tomato, avocado and lime. Finally have fun with the toppings.
Squeeze the lime into the bowl and enjoy the fresh flavours!
